Senior Business Analyst
Brief Overview of the Position
Business Analysts play a critical role in the successful delivery of ICT projects, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
The Business Analyst defines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering requirements, and evaluating system and output requirements. The role works independently with users to define business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and specifications from stakeholders through interviews and workshops.
- Create detailed specifications, use cases, and user stories for technical teams.
- Document current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes.
- Identify process inefficiencies, map system and process interactions, and propose improvements aligned with business goals.
- Develop test plans and test case scripts, execute testing, and report defects and issues.
- Develop training material, deliver end-user training, and gather post-implementation feedback.
minimum requirements
- At least three (3) years' experience as a Business Analyst within an ICT environment.
- A four-year Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent).
- Certification in Data Analytics tools is an advantage.
- Strong requirements elicitation and data analysis skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail and strong command of English, written and verbal.
