A Namibian Vision Realized
Founded in 2010, Green Enterprise Solutions was born out of a vision to establish a truly Namibian technology company capable of driving innovation and digital progress.
We wanted to create a Namibian powerhouse when it comes to technology, innovation, and really drive the digital aspect of where the world is moving to.

What began with just two individuals has evolved into a thriving organization headquartered in the iconic Old Power Station building, now occupying multiple floors.
Initially focusing on infrastructure services — including data centers, servers, networking, and storage — Green quickly expanded into software development by 2011. This shift allowed the company to offer customized enterprise solutions tailored to client needs, enabling organizations to achieve their goals through technology.
Today, Green not only develops bespoke systems but also designs and maintains its own products and platforms, serving both Namibian and international markets.
People and Skills at the Core
Talent development has always been central to Green’s success. The company invests heavily in education and professional certification, partnering with global leaders such as Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM.
“We don’t have a budget on education,” Snydewel emphasizes, underscoring that upskilling is seen as a necessity, not an expense.
His own career reflects this ethos — having started as an intern, he rose through the technical ranks to become Managing Director. Green’s recruitment philosophy follows the same people-first mindset: the company hires for attitude and potential, believing that while technical skills can be taught, the right mindset is priceless.
Partnerships with universities ensure access to top talent, while a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion creates more opportunities for women in technology and leadership roles.
Aligning with National Priorities
Looking ahead, Green Enterprise Solutions is aligning its efforts with Namibia’s Vision 2030 and national digital transformation strategies. The company collaborates closely with the Ministry of ICT and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with national policies while contributing technical expertise to shape the frameworks of the future.
Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and cloud computing form a critical part of Green’s growth strategy. Snydewel believes that AI and intelligent platforms beyond the cloud will continue to redefine efficiency, productivity, and innovation.
A Culture of Innovation and Partnership
At its core, Green Enterprise Solutions is more than a technology company — it’s a training ground for innovators and leaders.
“Every employee is treated as a partner in driving the business forward — from interns to senior executives,”
Snydewel explains.
This philosophy ensures that Green remains true to its founding mission: building a Namibian organization capable of making a lasting impact locally, regionally, and globally.
